iThought: Presenting Reports through Google Slides

         At these times, studying as a 21st-century learner, integration of the arising advancements, especially in multimedia, has become a necessity towards learning. This usually includes video/short films, documentaries, and other computer and internet related works. Personally, in the past weeks, we are bombarded with such performance tasks and currently, we are now into reportings. Accordingly, the work of a 21st-century learner must resemble in every task required like reportings.

         Google in its application softwares had introduced a presentation software like Microsoft Office's Powerpoint but in an innovative format offering a variety of modern features essential for a better presentation of reports. Just like the other application software of Google, namely Docs and Sheets, Slides also offers the same benefit of ease through user-friendly format, collaboration, and the auto-save feature.

        For two years now, I am introduced to using this software and it is indeed not regretful. I was able to present my school reports way better than before because of the added features and aesthetic templates. Fortunately, I have received higher scores with such. The following are some of my works using the application:

         Absolutely, Google Slides had helped me not just being able to access the files anytime and anywhere but also enjoy the features that this application has. Upon reading the attached material, I am able to discover more about Google Slides particularly those twenty new attributes.

These are some features I could apply in order to improve my experience toward Google Slides:

• Master Slide - in creating my own templates for future use.
• Keynotes - as a guide when reporting.
• Video & Trim - for further explanation of the subject matter.
• Host a Q&A - for quick/short quiz during and after the report.
• Drop Shadow, Word Art, & Image Masking - for more aesthetic layouts.
• Use of Add-ons - for better templates.
